Never Again
I would avoid this one at all cost. While there on a recent family weekend getaway we were very much displeased.
I booked our room on 3/7/24 and arrived on 3/8/24. We arrived at about 7:30pm to check in and drop off our bags.
The room was in poor condition but thought we would get by for the two nights we would be there. Went out to visit with family and returned around 11:00 pm.
We had just returned to the room and was going to get changed. While taking off my shoe I saw something moving on the dirty carpeting. I hit the bug with my shoe. I then picked the bug up to clearly see it was a cockroach. I took the bug along with my wife and son and headed for the front desk. The front desk clerk was in the hallway near my room when I appoached him and showed him the bug. I asked to be moved to another room. He agreed. We went back to gather our belongings. When we walked out of the room the front desk clerk was at the entrance to the room right next to the one I had a problem staying in. He said we could move from 103 and into 101 which was right next door and closer to the pool area (which was not very clean).
When he opened the door the carpets were so dirty I refused to enter the room. I asked him if I could photograph those carpets. I told him the carpets needed to be cleaned. He said that carpet cleaning does'nt work and the carpets need to be replaced.
At about 11:30 I asked for a refund and was told I needed to contact the mgr. at an email address I was given.
