The San Carlos proved perfect for my stay for a conference. Very convenient to places to see while being in a relatively quiet area. Several dining options (including on site) within walking distance. Room was attractive, clean, and comfortable. Staff were unfailingly courteous and helpful. I am very glad I chose the San Carlos and will definitely return in the future.

Great location, amazingly spacious by non NYC standards even, huge king bed, and well maintained. Also, try the Indian restaurant downstairs -- it's excellent!!

Definitely the best hotel I've stayed in Manhatan. Spacious room, mini fridge, microwave, comfortable bed and nice pillows. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, times square and subway station. Very friendly and professional staff. Loved everything about this hotel.

We never could get the WiFi to work in the hotel, but other than that it was an awesome room for five people! We had a double queen room with sleeper sofa and a little kitchenette. There are metro stations one and two blocks away so it is a great location. We would stay there again !
