In the gritty city of Naples, it can be risky to book a hotel in an area unknown to you. The Smart Hotel at the Port of Naples is refreshingly clean with a lovely indoor/outdoor bar area, delicious breakfast, and extremely helpful folks at the front desk and in bar. We had a lovely stay there and would highly recommend if you are in Naples for a port arrival or departure. Very safe, clean, and convenient.

Great location with bus and metro in front of the hotel. The Alibus goes directly to the train station and airport and a bus goes directly to Pompeii. The room is spacious. The hotel shares the building of cruise terminal so when cruise or ferry is in there is some engine noise.

Great 4-star hotel at Naples Port
Modern Hotel in a new building of Naples port authority. It was safe, the security presented during day and closed gate at night. The large rooms, with a pleasant design of separate bedroom, sitting area and bathroom, were very clean and comfortable. As we booked 3 nights separately, the hotel was fully booked so unable to combine our bookings. Staff at the reception were professional, friendly and very helpful. They assisted us to change to different types of rooms every day. They also kindly offered to save our passports in the office, so we didn’t have to bring them when we went out. The hotel’s restaurant provided very nice breakfast buffet, the best food and service we had in our 3 weeks of trip in Italy. I’ve partially paid off using Hotels.com rewards when I placed order months ago. Somehow, Smart Hotel charged my credit card as withheld 15 days prior check-in date. Although they explained afterward, and the charge was taken at check-out, that was the only hotel doing so. Overall, we highly recommended this hotel
