Spacious family home close to Mt Martha Village and The Briars. It was our first stay in the area and we would love to come back. Beautiful beaches and convenient eating locations.

Stove and oven did not work - major inconvenience
We were notified 3 hours before check in that the oven and stove did not work. This was a massive inconvenience as we had planned to cook as a family of 7 and had all our ingredients ready to take on our stay given we had a small child with us and the cost of eating out for every meal of our time away being a long weekend with additional surcharges. We asked the host how she would compensate us and she said she would give us a $50.00 refund. Hardly compensation for the massive inconvenience. We would not have booked this accomodation if it didn’t have working appliances and only finding out so close to check in time meant we couldn’t cancel or make alternative arrangements. Home in general was in need of some maintenance. Rug in third bedroom was stained, and bed uncomfortable due to old spring style. Shower missing door replaced with curtain.

Short stay
Thank you Simone for your fantastic communication leading up to our stay. My daughter and I enjoyed visiting Mount Martha. We did not experience the cleanliness expected of a short stay, with many areas of the house including the carpet and flooring, rug, bedding, kitchen/dining area, window security, garden area etc not at a standard of paid accommodation. We were unable to fulfil our stay for these reasons, in addition to my daughter being pregnant and feeling unwell due to the unpleasant smell of the bedding. It would be appropriate to inform visitors of security cameras external to the property that seem to activate with motion.
