Dirty windows ripped curtains dull interior had job fiddling the Hotel, could do with a good clean over all I am very surprised that Expedia have not visited it and seen for yourself the state of the place. Did stay the night would not let our dog stay there TERRIBLE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE

Shoddy hotel
The whole place reminded me of the film "the shining" out of date. The floor creeked, the doors are not soundproof, the man on reception was creepy, their was bath but only a child would have fit in it comfortably, the shower head had no fixture on the wall. The bathroom was small. The garden looked like it had not had a human hand on it for more than 10years. There was no breakfast. For the price of £65 it did not seem with it. If i had paid what i felt i would have only paid £30max

Property was being refurbished the whole experience was non existent after months of planning no help from the hotel and even less help from expedia

Free breakfast advertised-not available. Bathroom tiling etc. old, full of mould. Wiring and electrics in bedroom unsafe, exposed wires and extension cables. No fire instructions. Sheet and towels clean.

Unfortunately the property is nothing like the website and advertising put on, we believe the property to be unsafe, the first rooms bathroom was flooded, the second room was ok and bedding was clean, and then later when we ran a bath the water came through the ceiling by the light fixture. Electric and plumbing need replacing in fact the hotel is totally run down and needs renovation. There is no breakfast, no bar and an unsuitable lounge, we had to buy plastic cups to drink water from and the tea making facilities are very poor. The grounds are totally overgrown and the whole property is very poorly looked after, we believe it has recently been taken over so please disregard any comments prior to July 2021.
