Apartment "Schwalbennest" near Bernkastel-Kues

You will spend the night in a historic building. The apartment "Schwalbennest" on the second floor offers a wonderful panoramic view of the vineyards and river landscape. Since there are 3 apartments in one house, it is particularly suitable for meetings with families or friends. Coziness together and yet enjoy your own freedom. For 2-4 people: 1-2 bedrooms, for 5-6 people there is a comfortable sofa bed in the living room. Bathroom with shower, large living room, satellite TV, kitchenette with every comfort (including dishwasher). The apartment has an idyllic garden with a shade-giving chestnut tree. A large swivel grill is available on the terrace. We are happy to invite you to visit our 850 year old cellar. A sample of our delicious wines round off a day.

The apartment is also very suitable for e.g. B. to take part in our grape harvesting event with friends.

For the winemaker, the best time of the year is the grape harvest. Join us in the vineyard in autumn and share with us the joy of the harvest. Expand your knowledge and learn with all your senses. Experience a hearty lunch with music in the vineyard and try the fresh grape must straight from the press.

Siebenborn Abbey is located in the heart of the Moselle. From here you can go on trips to the beautiful Moselle landscape, with lots of culture and / or sporting activities.

The Maare-Mosel bike and hiking trail in front of the door invites you to enjoy nature, jogging, hiking, inline skating or even cycling.
There is a treading pool in front of the courtyard.

Horse riding, golf and tennis courts can be found in the area. Culture & excursions: Trier, Luxembourg, Hunsrück, Eifel etc.

Mysig vingård med charm
Härligt gammalt kloster mitt i Moseldalen. Charmiga lägenheter och väldigt bra och service minded personal. Restaurang precis bredvid. Tips!! Hyr eller ta med en cykel för att enkelt ta er runt och besöka de olika vingårdarna eller bara uppleva den vackra naturen

Schönes renoviertes Gebäude in prächtiger Umgebung. Angenehmer Kontakt mit dem Vermieter. Das Gebäude ist bei Ankunft im Dunkeln schwer zu finden. Ein Hinweisschild würde sicher helfen ( --> Ferienwohnungen ). So haben wir unwissend bei Häusern in der Umgebung angeklopft.... Ansonsten nichts als Lob !

Wir waren erst im Schwalbennest. Das gefiel uns weniger gut, wegen die Treppen. Danach konnten wir auf Wunsch umziehen in das Kavalierhaus. Das war sehr gut! Wer Ruhe und eine fabelhafte Umgebung sucht, ist hier mehr als am richtigen Ort. Und was auch wichtig ist: Eine sehr sympathische Familie Melsheimer. Gute bzw. sehr gute Bio Weine. Entspannte Tage in der Schatztruhe
Statt Schwalbennest durften wir "upgegraded" die Schatztruhe (direkt im Haus daneben) bewohnen, eine wunderbar individuell eingerichtete Wohnung, bei der die alten Weinkisten des Klosterguts z.B. als Couchtisch oder für die Kinderbetten miteingebaut wurden, alte Möbel gepaart mit modernen Elementen--unseren Geschmack hat es voll getroffen. Schöne ruhige Umgebung, leckerer Wein, mit den Kindern kann man tolle Ausflüge machen oder einfach Wandern gehen.

Wir waren zu dritt im Schwalbennest. Gemütliche Wohnung unter dem Dach. Es hat nichts gefehlt. Sehr nette Gastgeber. Man kann nett draußen im Garten sitzen und den guten Wein genießen. Das Weingut ist auch ein optimaler Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Wir kommen gerne wieder
