I have stayed at several DTLA hotels over the last few years. Although downtown can often feel like the Wild West, the LA Athletic club feels like an oasis of civility and tranquility. I will always look to the LAAC for accommodations for trips to LA.

We had to wait several hours for our room to be made ready and that delay made us miss a dinner reservation before the night’s event we had traveled to see. We weren’t offered any accommodations or excuses and it ruined what was an overly expensive stay for a very ordinary and dated room.
