Hotel Risboro - Friendly staff but stay elsewhere.
This hotel is EXCEPTIONALLY tired. There is a term ‘faded splendour’. Splendour never applied. We booked two nights but only stayed one - it was that poor. The original hotel building was probably lovely once but was extended in the 1970’s. It genuinely feels that no work has been done since. The bathroom suites are old, tired, dirty, with rusty fittings. The rooms are the same. I am not convinced the property complies with Fire Regulations - our bedroom door was NOT a fire door and did not comply. Staff were friendly but this place caters for super low budget coach parties. We thought it would be ‘OK’ and went in with our eyes open but it was in dreadfully dilapidated condition - and I question its safety. It needs serious investment. Absolutely avoid.

There is a reason its a cheap deal ...the staff are great ,breakfast was good , but the hotel is still living in past ..it needs upgrading very badly ...outside is in need off painting &tidying up old tables down the side &old wicker chair out the back &weeds growing just looks so uninspiring..inside is very dated needs redecorating with a good colour scheme...make shift repairs stand out like a sore thumb ..plaster off walls & paper too, just very tired &worn out ...room was clean but furniture was shabby &old seen better in charity shops ..bathroom was back in the 70s even the toilet brush had seen better days..in the corner of the room the ceiling was coming down ,but had been painted but not rectified the problem that was obviously there ..just not finished off properly cheap job that will do policy .alex pollizzi would have a field day here .its a shame because the location &parking is ideal for the town centre &all llandudnos attractions just a short walk ...

Booked 2 rooms for family vacation. There was no soap or handwash in bathroom/toilet. Also no shower, only bathtub. Duvets are smelly and room carpets are extremely dirty

Poor cleanliness very dusty and got locked out on first night kept ringing the bell noone came husband had to go round the back and forced his way in staff apologised next morning,staff were friendly.
