The room was clean and of good size, and the bed was very comfortable,. Despite getting a room directly opposite the lift, it wasn't loud at all. The blind on the window was an plastic external affair resembling a Venetian blind which didn't close fully and let in more light than I'd like but I slept pretty well. As seems to be standard in Germany, there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room. The breakfast was fine, a decent spread of the normal continental options with a pleasantly airy dining room and plenty of coffee.
On the downside, the room felt tired and old, especially the bathroom. Although the shower was relatively new, powerful, and got hot quickly, the floor in the bathroom was old and scuffed and the shower curtain looked dated. Rather archaically there is no free WiFi in the room. The hotel was also located further out than the booking website indicated to me - check the address with Google Maps yourself if you want to be sure.
