The only redeeming qualities of this hotel were its location and the grounds. The hotel room itself was simply awful. The toilet would overflow if you flushed it, the tv sat atop a dresser which was about the only surface atea in the room, but if you put something on the dresser you couldn’t see the tv. The rug was wrinkled and disgusting, and the only way to get into or out of the room was with 2 hands. One for the actual key And one to turn the knob. The price was ridiculous for what that room offered I’d rate the room with “0” if I could.

Beautiful Inn and beautiful landscaping. Very pleasant staf Our only request would be to upgrade the coffee. We do look forward to a good cup of coffee in the morning. The Inn's coffee tasted like coffee flavored water

Beautiful historic hotel!
Beautiful hotel surrounded by a gorgeous lake setting & conveniently located in walking distance to all the shops & restaurants! Our room had a king bed that was very comfortable with a nice size bathroom & closet. We were basically only in our room to sleep, so never even turned on the tv. Internet worked well & the temperature in the room is easy to adjust so the temperature was perfect for us. Very quiet & peaceful.

Michael in Maintenance was most helpful. At check-in he offered to carry our bags upstairs. We discovered the TV remote wasn’t working properly. He replaced it within minutes. Later in our stay we notified the desk of a clogged sink drain. Michael investigated and extracted a mini tube of toothpaste loged in the drain. The staff at the Reception desk were friendly and welcoming throughout our 4 day stay.
