Pros: Convenient, clean, modern, spacious room, very quiet, great views, only 5 mins to serenity of Kowloon park
Cons: Curtain difficult to open to see great view!
Above the buzz of Knutsford Tce, an oasis of quiet. Simple breakfast, helpful staff, clean and modern. Close to all facilities, and only 5 mins to Kowloon Park... perfect!

Just what we wanted

For the price we paid we were really happy with the hotel, basic but comfortable, friendly staff and clean. Also in a great location. Breakfast was provided, very basic but set us up nicely for the day ahead. Only comment I would make is that we were given a clean towel every day, which of course is lovely but I would have been happy to have the choice, to save on water and environmental impact.

Perkin Hotel

Pros: Rooms were clean & well appointed. Bar drinks & snacks free for first night.
Cons: Breakfast area looks more like a shared kitchen in a hostel
Location: Close to restaurants & shopping & train station.
Good value hotel close to shopping, restaurants & train station. Room & bathroom were clean and comfortable. Hotels looks new or newly refurbished. Breakfast included was rather disappointing and very basic. Breakfast area was small & located just off reception and the offering was sparse plain white bread, pre-made pancakes, yoghurt & cornflakes & share jars of jams, butter, etc.

Great position and good value.

Pros: Position. Amenities.
The Perkin can be a little hard to find in a busy street of modern bars and restaurants but it is very much in the heart of everything to reach in Kowloon. We took the train and then free shuttle from the airport and were dropped off a couple of minutes from the hotel at The Luxe Manor. Did the same in reverse on leaving. Had to walk up quite a lot of steps or there's a steep ramp you could take which runs between shops on Kimberley Rd with our cases. Not too hard but worth mentioning. Room was great and not too small for HK, considering the price. Brekky basic but ok. Nespresso in our room was good. Little basic fridge too. Great wi fi.

Very clean great spot Close to everything

Great spot , staff helpful It's the first hotel weve had to walk in No transport access so you have walk your luggage in about 50 mt but that's the only downer Common breakfast facilities great idea To meet fellow travellers

'Gem' of a find

Pros: Nespresso machine in the room! FREE use of an iPhone. Apps to navigate city, find restaurant etc.
Cons: Dare I say a few more nespresso pods than 2...... maybe 4..........
Location: Central location. Easy walk to food, shopping, harbour.
A little gem of luxury at a reasonable price! Fresh new hotel in a great location in Kowloon. Décor & finishes make the sound proof room very nice. It has its own Nespresso machine - need I say any more? (BYO extra pods). Foyer lounge & complimentary treats available (breakfast foods + waffles for afternoon tea) are very welcomed touches. Complimentary great Nespresso coffee available at any time of the day. Super comfy bed, bedding & air con. Excellent shower & bathroom products.Take airport bus 21A to stop 12 along Nathan Rd. Turn left into Kimberely Rd. 60m walk to the Hotel - look for Knutsford terrace on the left. Walk up slope, turn right & then hotel is 20m on the left. Very easy once you've done it once. Same in reverse to get back to the airport (45-60 mins). Return ticket is best value.
