Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. Convenient Location, Quiet Room
Location is great on the main street where it's walking distance to the general store and restaurants. Quiet, clean room on the 2nd floor. Had a kitchen and breakfast table which was great for cooking, eating, and staring out of the window in the morning. Though the view was just of the neighborhood, the trees and mountains were nice. Beds and pillows were comfortable. TV had various channels. The sofas, toilet and sink counter were all lower than usual which is perfect if you're a child but that was fine. However, it was hard to get a hold of anyone as there was no one in the office when we checked in/out. They need to write on their check-in sheet what the check out instructions are as we had to guess to drop our key in a "Key" box but it was unattended...
