I thought the Hilton Meadowlands, just minutes from American Dream, represented a tremendous value for a Saturday night stay.
We were in town to visit friends, shop at American Dream, and attend dinner and a show at nearby Medieval Times jn Lyndhurst.
For a Hilton, the room was just average. Overall, the hotel seems a bit rundown and could use an update. Beds were comfortable and the shower was awesome! Easy temperature control and great water pressure. Spacious in-room fridge, too.
The Starbucks had plenty of room to sit down.
When we checked in, the software to program keys was down. But the manager walked us to our room and we dropped off our bags before heading to American Dream. When we returned later that night, we got keys and they worked perfectly.
I can imagine if the hotel had been more crowded this would have been more of an issue with not being able to issue keys but they handled it very well!
Overall it’s a basic, straightforward hotel. I’ve stayed in fancier, cleaner, more spacious Hiltons and Hilton Garden Inn. But you can’t beat it for the price or location if you are in town for a game, concert, or American Dream vacation.
