Don’t expect to get the room you booked.
I booked an upgraded room on Hotels.com and the desk agent refused to give it to me. They put me in a standard room, refusing to look at the information I tried to show them indicating the level of room that I booked. Additionally, the desk agent was dismissive and condescending.

Dirty, run down, bed fell apart when my son laid on it (side panel fell off and it was evident that it had happened many times), the bathroom was covered in rust and the bathroom door was mishung so it wouldn’t close. The shower was so bad that I had to rinse my hair in the sink to get the shampoo all the way out. The lampshades were broken. One was even put on upside down…. It was one of those places that you slept in your clothes fully dressed because it didn’t feel clean enough not, too. However, the breakfast was nice and that area was clean. The staff was pleasant- so that’s a plus!
