need to be renovated

Room has a nice Seaview ! The facilities within the room itself is very poor - aircon not cool enough, sink has this plug release contraption to releases open right underneath the sink!!!! , the safe keeps breaking down almost to nil supply of teabags - only 2 to a room, mould along the bathroom Dining facility is inadequate - breakfast menu lack in quality , presentation n variety , Hotel lobby and the area outside the lifts n lobby has no air ccondition so it’s watm n stuffy. Overall the hotel needs to be fully renovated

Good value hotel

Pros: Big room, shower, good view from the balcony and the pool.
Cons: More shuttle bus services.
Location: The location is not good. The term "on the beach" is made to sound hollow by the poor quality of the beach. It is inconveniently far from the city.
The large and attractive pool helps to compensate for the beach which is strewn with litter and unattractive. The breakfasts were good though a second chef at the egg bar would help at peak times to reduce queuing.

Hotel was ok. Price was ok

Didn't realise it had smoking floors and non smoking floors. Pillows stunk of smokes but they changed them and was ok. Asked for extra tea bags in room and was told we have to pay for them. Staff were excellent, especially at breakfast hall. Young lady trainee from Indonesia (name escapes me just now) was super helpful and so friendly. A pleasure to be around. Could not help us enough. I would be happy to stay there again

Great place to stay!

Really loved this hotel, rooms were smart and clean, staff were wonderful and more than happy to help! Location was great, although you needed to take a bus or taxi places but that's most of Penang. The local buses are amazing and easy to catch and cheap, a stop located right outside the hotel! Massage place had a cheap deal going and restaurants across the road were good too!

Pros: I was placed in a spectacular view.
Cons: Their lobby was under renovation, so I could not really enjoy the facilities much.

Pros: Beachside accommodation, very affordable and good value, amazing beachside pool.
Cons: Rooms looking a little tired and could do with a revamp or renovation. Rooms dated and tired, but for the price cant complain at all.
