Nice hotel near Royal Mile
The hotel is close to Waverly station, its a short walk but you have to endure 3 flights of stairs from the Scotsman steps (shortcut to reach Northbridge. The hotel I believe is undergoing renovations. I was put in the 5th floor (top floor). It has a good view, but the only downside is, theres some stairs within the 5th floor and I found it very difficult as I have a big,heavy luggage with me. Its a struggle to bring it down and up the steps. The room is clean, ample space for a solo traveller. The bed is comfortable and the linens and pillows are of good quality. The hotel is very quiet (inside and out). It is also close to a Royal Mile and High Street. A lot of tourist attractions are within walking distance. Theres also a lot of options for dining and shopping around the area. Bus stops is just a block away.

Room quite dirty, minimal beverage choice in room. Bathroom tiny, you couldn't open the bathroom door fully. Air-conditioning very slow to work. Building noise and inconvenience.

The staff were super friendly and helpful! Close to the Royal Mile. Take the St.Andrew Square tram stop to make the short 10 minute walk to the hotel.
