Gatekeepers' cabin

The Cottage is a beautifully appointed facility with fire place, foxtel, CD player with large collection of CD's. Perfect for a couple wishing to spend a weekend or longer just enjoying the country landscape within the Scenic Rim or more actively engaging in watersports, horseriding, bush walking, mountain climbing, golf and so much more.
Located within a working beef cattle business of Dugandan Droughtmasters. There are horses and cattle grazing at all times in adjoining paddocks.
The Dugandan Pub is just 3 klms away for casual meals and a courtesy bus which for no charge will pick you up and drop you back should you decide to have a few drinks. Quality dining is available in town and at Austin House and at the nearby Karoomba Winery
A horse arena, round yard and horse paddocks are available for use by guests wishing to bring horses to the country for a change of scenery
Also available is sofa bed and stretchers or swag for an extra charge of $50 per couple which covers the laundering of extra linen & towels.

Amazing location
The property was roomy and very comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio and looking at the beautiful scenery all around, the castle, horses a lots of birds. We would recommend this property for a couple who are looking for a peaceful stay.

Diggin the Duggy!
This farm stay cottage is just lovely. You are completely surrounded by stunning views! Wonderful to see all sorts of animals, wildlife and beautiful birds that come to visit the feeder! Comfortable cottage and lovely owners. Enjoyed the outdoor fire pit too. The area is gorgeous, and the Dugandan Pub soooo close :)

Fabulous rural
Great scenic rim environment with views of horses,cows,prolific birdsand magnificent mountains and valleys.Cutest miniature double banded finch and a gorgeous coucal pheasant up close in tree alongside of road.Thank you for a great stay in a cottage with well stoked needs.

Amazing getaway form city life
Good location, friendly host and neighbour, great animal encounters, loved the horses, cows and birds. The cottage was very old, but in a OK state. Will definitely go back to stay again. Rated 3 stars for cleaning only. Everything else was perfect
