It was only grand.
The hotel was alright. Absolutely nothing to write home about and certainly not what I was expecting from a 4-star hotel. The room was very basic - soap and shampoo that was it. Not a shower cap or body lotion or anything like that in sight. Only 2 towels even though there were three people booked into the room. The dinner was very disappointing- it took absolutely ages, even though the restaurant was very quiet and all our food was cold. The dinner was the worst aspect of the night away. The breakfast was good though - a decent spread of the usual breakfast bits and pieces. Overall, can’t say I was impressed and certainly not the 4-star experience I had imagined or expected. Location is good though, very central. Really, it was somewhere to sleep for the night, but no more than that as the room needs a bit of TLC (icky shower curtains for example) and the hotel vibe overall was a bit tired and lacking.

Fantastic stay , all staff friendly and helpful. Great location hotel situated next to bus and tram links . Also close and able to walk to Temple district. Fantastic breakfast , excellent choice. Loads of options .

Didn’t quite meet a 4-star standard
Overall cleanliness was about average, a few clearly visible hairs in the bathroom and the carpet looked like it was hoovered at one point in middle of the room and nowhere else. The bed was extremely comfy but you couldn’t sit up against the headrest because the wheels meant any nudge against the wall sent the bed rolling. The windows did well to block out sound from outside but unfortunately being beside a staff supply room I was woken at 5am by the loud slamming of a door and the noise only continued throughout the day. When I spoke to a member of staff at the front desk he told me that my options would be to either purchase a sleep kit from them to get some ear buds or pay extra to upgrade to a different room. There didn’t seem to be any responsibility taken for the noise despite it being caused by staff members. I imagine if you’re able to get a room further from these storage areas, it wouldn’t be an issue and a stay would be pleasant. The room service is a great option though the food I ordered lacked in quality for what I paid - €24 for a pizza. Doubt I’d stay again, would look for something more budget friendly and expect the same level of service.

Very nice hotel in a central area. Large Tesco opposite..many shops, restaurants, transport, nearby. Very helpful staff, credit due to Antonio, on reception, who checked us in & was very welcoming & helpful. I chose to stay here at the Leonardo-Dublin, as I'd previously stay at the Leonardo Hotel in Brighton ( beachfront) & had a fantastic stay, so i thought, lets try another Leonardo Hotel & i wasnt disappointed at all. Our room was recently refurbished & looked lovely. The shower was amazing & i had the best sleep ever in their very comfortable beds. Lovely bar & great staff. The breakfast was top notch too. I was very impressed with the extra security, where you have to use your room card to access the lift....keeps anyone rhat shouldnt be there, away. Definitely Reccomended- Book & see for yourself

There was construction at the hotel which would wake you in the morning and go on through the day so there was no way to rest. Really not ok considering they still charge a good amount for the room.
