Great location and very wonderful property. We had a cottage which while older decor was clean and well maintained. The 20 Mule Train historic display was fantastic. The negative, other than the gentleman who checked us in, not a single other employee at the hotel, stores, and restaurant even acknowledged us. Said hello as I passed a couple without a response. In the boutique shop we were there for 10 min and the clerk was too busy reading to bother seeing if we needed anything. Sad that the customer service doesn't match the quality of the property.

Motel style seriouly need renovation, great location, saloon and buffet are sadly bad for ambiance and food, instead go for the Inn (same owner) for food and amenities.

The hallway building we stayed in smelled like humidity and stagnant odor. The room smelled like mildew and noticed the shower was leaking through the walls and caused the rug on the bed side to get soaked and sink area to get wet and one of the walls to start falling apart.

A true oasis in the desert. And the buffet was a life safer for a long family weekend trip to Death Valley.
