The bed was super comfy. The rooms are quite small and the bathroom is tiny! The place is in need of some updating for sure, but we weren’t there to hang out in our room. It was perfect for what we needed. It was very warm in the room, and we couldn’t adjust the temp lower than 65, so we just opened the window a bit. The front desk staff was very friendly. No complaints at all. Again, it was perfect for what we needed.

The stay was ok. The staff was great but the hotel rooms are outdated. For what they’re charging per night you can go to a nicer hotel. Holiday Inn Express is nicer to this one. The pictures do not reflect the reality. The only nice area is the lobby.

Avoid. There are much better options for the same price. The rooms are small, not aging well and are furnished very cheaply. The door to the bathroom, made of MDF and plastic, was falling apart.

The property is conveniently located and the bar area is amazing! The room’s bathroom was small and tight, and the shower spout wouldn’t stay secure so the shower didn’t stay on. I had to hold it in with one hand so I could continue to shower.

I tripped over a rolled up carpet in the entryway and fell hard. I was hurt, looked up to see the bartender (the bar is just inside the entryway) looking at me yet he never made a move to help. Keep in mind that this was at approximately 2pm and there were no customers at the bar. As I lay there, finally an exiting customer did stop and ask if I was ok….then an employee from the salon next to the entrance came out and did the same, nothing from a hotel employee. Once I was able to get up, I sat on the bench for a moment to compose myself…still nothing from a hotel employee. I have two broken ribs as a result of the fall. I made the decision not to stay at a hotel that employs those that show no sense of humanity. I found great accommodations a short distance away at the Hilton Chicago.

The property and employees were amazing. Location was perfect. Only down fall was that the room stayed pretty hot no matter what the thermostat was set at. Overall amazing experience
