This was our third stay at this property. We have returned to the area many times and have settled into this particular property as it is convenient as a center for our local travels offering many restaurant options nearby. While most of the staff are friendly and efficient, it seems that the hotel is chronically understaffed with professionalism varying widely. Probably time to renovate and provide continuous training for staff. We did find that the manager and several of his staff have been friendly, efficient and very helpful. The small in-house cafe should be manned on a regular basis with hours posted. Having once tended bar, I think using the automated drink maker is a mistake. Worth noting that in an earlier visit we experienced a fire alarm, not a test, in the wee hours of the morning. Once outside in the cold, no information was shared by staff, and when the truck pulled away, that signaled the all clear. Develop a communications plan to keep guests informed.

The room itself was fine. There however was noise in the hallway throughout the late evening early morning hours. The hotel did nothing about children running around the lobby and elevators from the pool, getting water All over the floors and elevators. The morning male staff at the front desk was rude to myself and to other guests as well. The pool was very cold as well. The breafast dining area was dirty.

The staff was very helpful and kind. This location was great for my stay. The only thing I wish was a bit different was a selection of breakfast. When you stay for a week the options become a bit repetitive.
