A Bargain
The Angel is in a great location, lovely friendly staff and comfy and clean rooms. Plenty of hot water and everything you need. Lovely view of the castle from our room. Not as noisy as I had expected given the location on a busy road A generous breakfast. I was able to nab a parking spot in the hotel car park. The hotel is a bit faded but a bargain.

Lovely building beautiful decor rooms ok, clean, nice soft beds. Staff friendly and easy to approach from the bar and waiting staff, reception staff and cleaning staff. We only had the breakfast there but the food was lovely also depending where sitting there is a view by the window of the castle across the eoad The only faults were the distance from the plug socket and the bed ( my daughter uses her phone while it’s charging) take an extension lead if you require to use devices while charging and the tea making facility was disappointing, kettle tea bags etc. but the packets of milk were gone off and the cups weren’t changed. Also no fridge or chiller available. This was a stay in a deluxe twin room.
