Oceanfront Retreat - The Cove Combo - Apartment plus Studio pet friendly

This unique oceanfront retreat is pet friendly. It has the main residence and two self contained guest apartments. The spacious upstairs one bedroom apartment has a separate lounge room, a fully equiped kitchen and the main bathroom has laundry facilities. The oceanfront bedroom has stunning views with an ensuite and spa. The lounge room has a double day bed and lounge. It can be closed off making it a separate room for sleeping at night. The balcony overlooks the quaint courtyard. The ground floor unit is a studio apartment off the courtyard. It has a lounge room, dining table, kitchenette and bathroom. The bedroom has a queen bed and ocean views. On the oceanfront there is a large pool, gazebo, open entertainment area with a dining setting, lounge area and BBQ. This area is fully fenced making it suitable for pets. Please let us know if you are bringing a pet with you. Down the stairs is the oceanfront deck which is a great place to relax. Whales and dolphins can be spotted at certain times of the year and there are plenty of rock pools to explore. If the sea is calm it is possible to snorkel off the rocks. Barolin Rocks is a good dive and snorkelling site which is only a three minute walk away. There is a lovely tidal swimming lagoon and cafe/bakery five minutes walk away and a convenience shop nearby. Stunning Elliot Heads Beach is a 10 minute drive from here. It is now turtle season, the nightly tour is a great experience. Be sure to book in advance. The turtle rookery at Mon Repos is a 15 minute drive away. From Bundaberg it is possible to take a trip out to the reef and explore Lady Musgrave Island or a plane flight to Lady Elliot Island. Golf enthusiasts we have two golf courses nearby. Bargara has some great little restaurants and Sandhills Sports club runs courtesy buses that operate Wednesday through to Saturday nights. Elliot Heads Bowls Club has a courtesy bus Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There are lots of things to explore around the Bundaberg area.

Honeymoon to Remember.
Absolutely beautiful. Couldn't have picked a nicer place. Everything was A1. Kids had a blast, could have spent more time there but you have to explore, right. If you want a quiet place to stay. With the water at the back door +++ Better book now.

An absolutely gorgeous property on the beach- the photos in the listing do not do it justice- it was the perfect spot to catch up with my Aussie family...the patio is a wonderful spot for family meals, hanging out and enjoying life. Can't wait to come back.

Location is amazing, clean & tidy couldn’t ask for more.
What an amazing location, wonderful afternoons spent listening to the waves with a beautiful cool breeze coming off the water. Perfect entertaining space with nice large table to enjoy an afternoon beverage, then dinner and afterwards enjoy family games night. Had the best long weekend with our dogs and teenage daughters. All of us enjoyed the stay and will definitely return. The place is clean, owners made sure we had everything you would want and more. Couldn’t recommend highly enough, if in the area this place is a must stay,

Superb time
We totally enjoyed our trip. Right on the ocean, it was mere minutes to good beaches. The hosts Dawne and Brent were very accomodating and fun. Will definitely go again. Bit of an ant infestation due to inclement weather but apart from that no worries at all. Very relaxing. Resident Eagles are a treat to watch, and the waves...so good. Worth it.

fantastic stay
property was well suited to our expanding family as we took over both units and had the place to ourselves. Great outlook over the ocean from the BBQ area. Pool was clean and refreshing, Rooms tidy neat and also the owner put on bacon, eggs milk and bread as well as some coffee tea just for when you may arrive a bit short on supplies. Easy trip to Bundy or Bargara, nice quiet and relaxing property. will be back.:)
