Everything was great except out keys were deactivated during our stay and the light and Bluetooth in the bathroom mirror did not work so there was barely any lighting in the bathroom.

Things were not clear before, booking. I do not valet park. We had many excursions planed and I do not like to or should have to ask for my car and feel I must tip every time I go to my vehicle. I ask the clerk while checking in were I could park my car and was told they only have valet. He told me I could park on the street a block or two away but would have to pay there as well. Not happy. Then we get to our room and the temperature warm so I turn down the thermostat to have the room temperature down by the time we return from a couple outings. Needless to say the it was still hot in our room. Maintinance came up the next morning just to explain this is eco friendly hotel and that the temperature would never get below 70, that was not true. By the time we left I had gotten the temperature to 68. Which is the temperature I sleep with at home. The shower door squeaks so bad when opening and closing it wakes everyone up. While checking in my family went and set in the setting area just off the lobby by the restaurant and when I went to get them my daughter pointed out the food on the floor. The next morning I went down to have coffee while my wife and daughter were getting ready and the food on the floor was still there. Later that afternoon I was waiting in the same area for my daughter to come back down so we could leave for dinner and the food was still there, I reported it to the bar attendant and it was finally cleaned up. I will not be returning to this property.

The property is great. Great location, nice views. Overlooks Rainey street and the river. The only downside is currently there is a lot of construction to the high rises in the area.

Nice Stay
Nice clean hotel conveniently located not far from where my conference was being held. Nice bathrooms and comfortable beds. I have stayed at Cambria Hotels in other cities and Cambria in Austin did not disappoint.

New and modern, but noisy and lacking basic amenities. They had a tiny coffee maker and only one Dixie cup in the room. And there was no coffee, juice or any type of food for breakfast. The room’s refrigerator didn’t stay very cold and the one ice machine that worked dispensed slush more than ice cubes. Then, we were awakened in the middle with the blaring beat of music, which is great when you’re going out to dance, but not outside your window at 2 AM when you’re trying to sleep. Most of the staff were very friendly and wanted to be accommodating, but were hamstrung by the hotel’s limitations.
