By the Sea
The Hotel was average. Staff were friendly but overall just another hotel. Nothing stood out as being exceptional. There were no perks with VIP awards. The breakfast was well presented with good choice, but the beachfront restaurant had unfriendly staff just doing their job. The Hotel was close to tram and bus lines to and from Athens, airport and Port which was great for getting around. The one thing I will rave about is a near by restaurant called Tzitziras and Mitziras. Fantastic service and food about a 10 minute walk from the Poseidon

Good stay with polite staff.
In general the stay was good. There was a bit of a drain smell in the bathroom so we asked to be moved. They were apologetic and gave us a room directly above the previous room. However, there was still a slight smell of drains, but not too bad! The rooms were clean with nice toiletries.Breakfast was excellent, staff were polite and welcoming.

Traveled to Greece with my daughter for her college fall break. Hotel looks a little sketchy from the outside, but as soon as you walk through the door, you find it is clean, well maintained, and the staff is wonderful. You can hear street noise while trying to go to sleep, but it really wasn't a problem. Hotel is also super convenient - literally across the street from the beach, and public transport. The only issue we had was trying to use the roof pool/bar area to view the sunset one evening. Bar caters to middle aged men (maybe a happy hour type situation for local businessmen?), and we were told 'gentlemen only'. Since the conversation leading up to the comment was in Greek, we had no idea if it was supposed to be a joke, or if we were the on the receiving end of the joke. We were also woken up at 2:00 am one night by very loud music coming from the pool/bar area - went back to sleep with pillows over our heads!
