Misguided booking info! No pay at property option!
Travelled as 3 friends,coming from different countries.Booked our stay at Yays based on local friend’s recommendation and was expecting to have a good and professional service,stuff was good but management’s attitude and communication were just the opposite even our stay was good.1)hotel charged 72 hours in advance from my credit card even I booked it as“pay at property”on purpose.At the time of booking they have pay at property option but in reality they charge before you arrive!It made us pay all the additional bank commissions.We asked to cancel creditcard transaction and pay at property as in the itinerary but they didn’t do it during 3 days even they say they can do. On departure day,manager(Marco) made us wait more than an hour, no solution,no apology+rudeness.He asked us to pay again there then promised to cancel the transaction after we leave,but we couldnot trust after his all inconsistencies.After all hotel system couldnot cancel the initial payment,so we glad not paying double fee based on his guidance!In the end after our disappointment,he ordered a complimentary airport taxi to tolerate the situation but we lost our morning to enjoy one last coffee together before everyone travels her own destination + tons of stress before flight.2) we stayed in a family room.There are 2 rooms however in 1 bedroom, the beds are smaller than a single bed and not comfortable for an adult- this is not obvious on the photos of the property.3)location is far from center- 15mins uber
