A Great Break...
We had to shift hotels when the power went out at ur first reservation. That was the best break we had in forever. State Plaza was the best. Great locatio, great room, great value. We will recommend them to anyone going to DC.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was extremely clean, if not necessarily the most recently renovated. It’s in a super convenient location between foggy bottom and downtown and you really can’t beat the price for that location, and for as quiet and roomy as it is. The other place I’ve stayed near there that was in a similar price range was in a noisy spot and the room was half the size. I also like that they give you free bottled water, a tea kettle and a Keurig with plenty of coffee and sugar packets. I was lazy and didn’t want to leave the room so I made ramen with hot water from the kettle. There’s a big tv with lots of channels. Everything was great and I will be back. Thank you!

Excellent small hotel. Great service; private; clean. Go for the kitchenette - you’ll end up in a small suite. Great if you don’t want the bustle of a large hotel lobby. American Theatre group was staying there for their performance at the Kennedy Center just blocks away. Short walk to the Mall. Will def stay here again!
