I thought the signage was lacking or where to park to sign in to the hotel. I believe I got a violation, but it blew off in the wind, so I never got a chance to read it. I got parked, could not find a sign that told me where the elevators were to go up to the rooms. When I got to the room and opened the door. There was luggage on the couch. I immediately called the front desk, and they called security which came up. It appears that the person who was in the room before me extended his stay, but the kiosk system was not aware of that and assigned me to the same room. After driving all day, having trouble finding the room, and having to go back to the front desk to get it resolved was a bit much. But I do have to say that the staff was excellent.

Hotel wanted 50. To check in at 1:30 check in time was 3pm. Shower had no mat, housecleaning was not available every day, rugs wet stained, sofa was stained and dirty and toilet bowl was too low

I had a disappointing stay at The Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The hotel, under renovation, looked nothing like its online photos. It had a strong bad smell, and there was noticeable weed smoking, making it uncomfortable. Overall, The Rio's standards were below expectations, and I advise looking at other options in Las Vegas.

I stayed in one of the updated rooms. The rooms were nice shower was great bed comfy and tv was nice also. The knob to lock door didnt close well ,I needed to give it an extra push to make it lock. The walk to convention center is long. It would be nice to have some benches in halls in convention center especially for folks who are elderly and or those with medical issues. Would like to see another option for breakfast coffee in am

Vegas has construction everywhere and the Rio is no exception. A bit confusing to navigate but sure it will be fine once finished. In all fairness, I was a bit tired from the day’s work and driving.
