The staff was excellent. The Beach, and pool were great. But, if you are younger. There is no night life. Not even close by. Everything shuts down fairly early. When we checked in. We were pressured to attend a timeshare meeting. We were coming off a long day of travel. And, she wanted us to commit to a 90 minute presentation. We, said we didn't want to commit. Later that evening, she cornered us again. Hard Sell. It was a complete turn off. Spent the rest of our stay trying to avoid her. We were also harassed by an owner (of timeshare). This was very disturbing. And, for those two reasons. I would not go there again, nor recommend, The Royal Sands. Again, the staff were amazing. Not for the younger people, who want to really enjoy yourself. And stay up past 10pm. Mostly families, lots and lots of retired people who judged us for trying to have a trip of a lifetime. Frankly we left, feeling like we got cheated.

This was my 3rd visit in 5years. Loved the friendly personal service, cleanliness, and the location, and spaciousness of the hotel. Disliked the fact that there were fewer waiters than in past visit.

The highlight of the Royal Sands is the excellent quality of the food that is served. Everything was delicious. An equally impressive trait of the Royal Sands is the polite and attentive service that provided to the guest. Royal Sands gets 5-Stars in both of these categories. The premises was clean and well kept. We have a wonderful time and we’d definitely go back!!

The staff was courteous and very attentive as they have always been in past. The resort was bought out by The Holiday Inn, restaurant options were reduced which limited options for food. Also restaurants don’t serve past 11 pm. We did a special Valentines dinner and all of our party got sick from the seafood soup. 1 of the party was so sick they spent most of the time in the room for 3 days. As much as we loved this resort, we will be looking for somewhere else to stay on our next visit.

We never know what to expect so we are always nervous booking new places. Royal sands was nice. Check in was easy, restaurants are what you would expect not great but not bad either. Their concierge are helpful, there is a timeshare presentation they’re pushing for of course. There’s no where to get a drink before 11am and only two places after 5 until 11pm. The spa is very nice, pools and beach were busy but was always able to find a spot. Nothing in the market was apart of all inclusive. Overall we would return.
