Spring accommodation bookings across Southern Tasmania have seen a boost thanks to a recent campaign between Wotif.com and Destination Southern Tasmania.
Wotif.com Product Director Donna Rodios, said the recent two-week Every season more scenic than the last campaign had resulted in a 15.4 per cent room night growth for participating suppliers, compared to the same period last year.
“It’s great to see participating suppliers reaping the benefits of the campaign and recording a solid lift,” Ms Rodios said.
“The region as a whole also recorded a 7.7 per cent increase in room nights through Wotif.com bookings, as a result of the campaign.
“With campaign deals starting from AU$99 and an interactive landing page featuring key destination information it’s no wonder so many people have made Southern Tasmania their springtime must-do.
“Wotif.com flight bookings also recorded a 340 per cent increase during the campaign period compared to the same period last year, with holidaymakers from Melbourne and Sydney making the most flight bookings for Hobart.”
Destination Southern Tasmania Chief Executive Officer, Ben Targett, welcomed the results of the Wotif.com spring campaign.
