Wotif’s Top Five Tips to Securing the Best Summer Travel Deals

  1. Be flexible with your travel dates: If you are open to it, consider flying on Christmas Day, when generally there is less demand for travel, especially in comparison to Christmas Eve.
  2. Bundle savings: Combining your flights, accommodation or even car hire into one package can give you access to great savings – a bit like bundling your internet and phone plan. If you have the flexibility to book all at once, packages on Wotif offer a discount often not available when booking separately.
  3. Save time by not shopping around: Look for travel sites that offer the best rate guaranteed. The Wotif Price Promise ensures you get the lowest possible price for your trip. If you find a cheaper hotel or package online within 24-hours of booking with Wotif, the team will match the lower price by refunding you the difference.
  4. Be our mate: By creating an account with online travel programs such as Wotif’s Mates Rates, you can unlock special rates of between 10% and 50% off on select accommodation bookings.
  5. Search for value-adds: If you’re booking in July, you’re already on your way to securing the best deal but why not look out for hotel inclusions like breakfast, free mini-bar or parking. On Wotif, you can choose to find these added extras by ticking the options in the ‘amenities’ list.
