Emirates on top for Wotif Group

BRISBANE – 7 August 2012

Emirates was the most booked international airline from Australia across the Wotif Group of brands in the last financial year.

Wotif Group Flights and Holidays General Manager Helen Demetriou said Perth to Denpasar, Bali was the most booked airline route for the Wotif Group, followed by Sydney to Bangkok which is a popular route for Emirates.

“Emirates is one of the world’s largest airlines with a lot of busy routes out of Australia including Auckland, Singapore and Bangkok,” Ms Demetriou said.

“Singapore Airlines and Thai Airways were also really popular internationally for us last year, although Qantas was still the most booked airline domestically.”
