There are heaps of day events on offer too; I’m particularly keen to check out Pick, Pickle, Wine and Dine, a hands-on tour and session on how to pick and process your own table olives. There’s no better place to run than on one of Australia’s most scenic routes \u2013 the Great Ocean Road<\/a>. This marathon offers a range of distances to suit all fitness levels, from 1.5km to 45km (serious respect for the latter!). An all-ages event, the line-up for this festival is seriously impressive. We’re talking John Butler Trio, The Veronicas, and Amy Shark, just to name a few. Set in the picturesque Darwin<\/a> Amphitheatre, BASSINTHEGRASS is great value for money, with second-round tickets available now and only $100. Be quick though, ’cause they’re selling out fast.<\/p>\n
When: May 26 \u2013 June 17<\/strong>
A festival of light, music, and ideas! You’ll be wowed when you see iconic landmarks such as the Sydney Opera House, Museum of Contemporary Art, Taronga Zoo, and Customs House lit up with incredible colour and art. One of Australia’s greatest sporting events, State of Origin 2017 is almost here, with the first game kicking off at Suncorp Stadium in Brisvegas<\/a>. Tickets start at $80, but sell out fast, so jump on ’em ASAP. You’ll be cheering (or screaming) with a beer in your hand in no time.<\/p>\n
