  1. Sydney Royal Easter Show<\/a><\/strong>
    When: 6 \u2013 19 April<\/em>
    Started in 1893, this is actually Australia’s largest annual ticketed event! The agricultural fair is a great day out for the family, with carnival rides, exhibitions, foodstalls and entertainment spread across two fun-filled weeks.\n

  2. Jewel World Triathlon, Gold Coast<\/a><\/strong>
    When: 8 \u2013 9 April<\/em>
    With the perfect mix of sun, surf and sand at the     Gold Coast<\/a>, this one will definitely draw a crowd. Cheer on elite Olympic contenders as they battle it out in the second triathlon in the world series.\n

  3. Rip Curl Pro, Great Ocean Road<\/a><\/strong>
    When: 12 \u2013 24 April<\/em>
    Celebrating 56 years, this iconic surfing festival is the longest running world championship contest. Run at the renowned Bells Beach on the     Great Ocean Road<\/a>, watch on as world-famous surfers ‘ring the bell’.\n

  4. Byron Bay Blues Fest <\/a><\/strong>
    When: 13 \u2013 17 April<\/em>
    Set up camp and chill out amongst like-minded folk, listening to top musical talent with the backdrop of beautiful     Byron Bay<\/a>. The 2017 line-up promises only good things with confirmed artists including The Lumineers, Corinne Bailey Rae, Santana and Casey Chambers.\n<\/li>\n
  5. Barossa Vintage Festival<\/a><\/strong>
    When: 19 \u2013 23 April<\/em>
    Started in 1947, Australia’s longest running wine festival has gallons on offer. Festival highlights include gin making classes, a scarecrow trail, and if you’re game, there’s a 33km hill climbing trail run through Riesling country. The traditional Ziegnmarkt will also be on, where you can bid on fresh produce and buy live stock from pheasants to pigs.\n<\/li>\n
  6. Tjungu Festival, Ayers Rock<\/a><\/strong>
    When: 22 \u2013 25 April<\/em>
    Tjungu, pronounced tjoo-ngoo, means ‘meeting together’ in local Anangu language,and celebrates the best of Australian Indigenous culture with music, food, art, and much more! Make sure you go to the outdoor desert dining experience ‘Tastes of Tjungu’, with a modern bush inspired menu hosted by a celebrity chef.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
