Tell us Mark, what was the highlight of your Kakadu adventure?<\/strong>
Katherine Gorge<\/a> \u2013 this was so spectacular. We did a sunset dinner cruise, the food was amazing and the gorge at sunset was magical! I also loved doing the Cage of Death at Crocosaurus cove in Darwin. Being only 20cm away from the mouth of an 800kg beast was just mind blowing and a little crazy J.<\/p>\n

Where would you recommend people stay? <\/strong>
At WildmanWilderness Lodge<\/a> in Kakadu you are surrounded by the beautiful Mary River Wetlands. Watch the sunset from their infinity pool \u2013 it’s a once in a lifetime experience.<\/p>\n

If you’re in Katherine, the Cicada Lodge<\/a> in Nitmiluk National Park is also a treat. Rephrase \u2013 it’s a re’treat’! Take in the almost prehistoric landscapes and marvel at the incredible wildlife all around you.<\/p>\n

What was one of your favourite parts of the trip? <\/strong>
Don’t miss Mindil Beach Markets on a Thursday night throughout Dry Season. Have the green pawpaw salad or Laksa with a fresh juice and sit on the beach to watch the sunset.<\/p>\n

The one thing you’ll never forget…<\/strong>
Experiencing the ‘Bombing of Darwin’ Virtual Reality experience at the Royal Flying Doctor Museum. This was scary and confronting all at once.<\/p>\n

If the trip was a song it would have been\u2026 <\/strong>
‘Holiday Road’ from National Lampoons. <\/p>\n

Any culinary experiments?<\/strong>
I tried a crocodile bisque \u2013 it was delicious! We also had some tasty Mango beer on a tasting paddle at the Purple Mango micro-brewery which was pretty unique.<\/p>\n

What was something surprising about the trip?
<\/strong>A pop up caravan caf\u00e9 in Katherine with amazing coffee, and donuts where you inject the sauce. Hipster level = EPIC.<\/p>\n
