The actual view was, of course, phenomenal and I'm very glad we did it. However, I felt like we were on a production line... one group in, one group out. The guy who picked us up was friendly-ish... whizzed us out to the helipad, rushed us through the safety presentation and then we were taken out and escorted on board. He said "you're the last group before lunch" which made me think they couldn't wait for their break. Once on board, it all happened so quick. As a first-timer, I had been nervous and I kind of thought the pilot would say "So, been on a helicopter before?" etc. and make us all feel comfy. But the pilot said ABSOLUTELY nothing to us, just took off. Didn't even introduce himself. Not a word was spoken until we were over Uluru and another lady started asking questions. Just zero customer interaction or service, although we loved the actual flight. However, it was meant to be 25-30 mins over Ulura and Kata Tjuta and I can tell you it was barely 20 mins. Disappointing.

Fantastic and unusual perspective on Uluru and the Olgas / Kata Tjuta and the outback context. Helicopter pilot was professional so the company lived up to its name. Gave us an overview of the environment. Expensive but worthwhile.
