Join our seamless day trip to Milford Sound on board brand new glass-roofed coaches connecting with a spacious purpose built catamaran.

Board the coach in Queenstown and travel alongside Lake Wakatipu and through farming countryside to Te Anau where you will enjoy a short rest stop. From here the overland journey to Milford Sound is a showcase of sheer mountains and towering cliffs, rugged valleys and native rain forest surrounded by teeming waterfalls and glacial lakes. The glass-roof coach offers reclining seats, multilingual commentary, additional legroom, free WIFI and USB ports. Experienced coach drivers tailor each journey to ensure the best photo stops are included for short walks and photo opportunities along the way.

On arrival to Milford Sound, board our vessel for an extended and leisurely cruise with a two hour duration and English only commentary. Cruise the length of the fiord in comfort on a modern, spacious vessel with comfortable indoor seating and large, tall windows for panoramic viewing of spectacular Milford Sound. With a relaxed itinerary, enjoy a large and wide open outdoor, upper level for excellent wildlife viewing including seals, dolphins and penguins when in season. A specialist nature guide shares their local knowledge with lively and informative commentary while roaming the vessel and the wheelhouse is open to join and speak with the skipper. Following the cruise, return to Queenstown by coach.

Enjoy a freshly packed Picnic Lunch and Hot Soup in Winter months (1 May - 30 Sep) or a Kiwi-Style Buffet Lunch in Summer months (1 Oct - 30 Apr) as apart of your journey.

As the original and most established operator in Milford Sound, this magical fjord is our home – And we’d love to share our backyard with you. There’s so much more to Milford Sound. Discover it all with us.

Excellent adventure and end result at Milford Sound, couldn’t fault that or the drivers knowledge of scenery Andrew general facts. It became too much though to be on a coach for almost 10 of the total day.

The boat cruise was wonderful. It was beautiful and the food was great. The only downside of this trip is it is a very long day and you spend quite a while on the bus. While it was a cool tour it might be a better idea to separate the two excursions.
