What you can expect

Prepare yourself for an adventure as you take off and fly high over Sydney in a Pitts Special S-2A Aerobatic Biplane. Soar past the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Kirribilli, Taronga Zoo, and Garden Island.

Meet your experienced pilot at Bankstown Airport, where you first spot your impressive vehicle for the day, a former aerobatic warplane. After a safety briefing, hop into the front seat of this open-cockpit biplane, fasten your seatbelt, and listen to the calls between your pilot and air traffic control before taking off.

After take-off, admire the wonderful view of Sydney as you makes an orbit around the city. Gaze down out over the skyline as you cruise over Harbour City as your pilot shares informative commentary about the landmarks below.

Soar over the world-famous Sydney Harbour Bridge and white sails of the Sydney Opera House. Look down on Taronga Zoo and the golden sands of Bondi Beach.

This is where things get really exciting as you pull out all stops with some adrenaline inducing aerobatics; try a loop and a roll to give you a view of the world from a completely different perspective. This is what the Pitts is made for and your pilot will give you a taste of the G-Forces Baron Manfred Von Richthofen himself may have experienced during air combat. You’ll head back home over Mona Vale where you may catch a glimpse of the spectacular Baha’i temple.

Landing back at Red Baron HQ you’ll be hard pressed to stop smiling for the rest of the day!
