per adult Price is AU$39

Dip beneath the waters of Hanauma Bay and find out why this sheltered cove is one of Oahu's most popular snorkelling destinations. Drift past colourful coral reef formations, wave to passing sea turtles, and follow schools of neon-bright tropical fish.

Start your afternoon with convenient pick-up from your hotel, and then ride out to the sugary sands that frame Hanauma Bay, a crescent-shaped body of water protected from the ocean's pounding surf. Grab your gear, get tips from expert staff on fitting your goggles on right, and then dive in.

Swim through gentle waves and scan the ocean floor for any one of the 114 species of fish that call this aquatic paradise home. You might see the black stripes of reef triggerfish or the nimble movements of a bright yellow Forceps Fish. Lucky snorkellers might even spot the giant shell of a majestic sea turtle.

The warm water ensures that you can snorkel comfortably for hours, but if you need a break, find a place to soak up the rays on the beach or cool off under the shade of a swaying palm tree. A small snack bar is also available for a quick bite to eat or a refreshing drink between swims.

David was our driver. He gave us all the info we needed it. Friendly. Equipment included. It’s a beach without any shade. I would suggest to bring umbrellas with you. We used lockers $10 to lock our wallets. It was enough time, we were back by the car at 1:20. You can rent equipment there for 20$ but it is worth paying 27$ Per person for the ride and equipment.

Pleaae beware of this place. They are rude and racist. The driver ignored myself and my children, didn't even have equipment for us. Then the "manager" called my son a girl. Horrible experience save your money pure scam and they say gear included, but when you get to location they charge you an extra fee.

We had an amazing time snorkeling in the Bay. The issues we had were with the company Snorkeling Adventures. We were told to wait outside our Resort 10 mins prior to pick up, 20 mins after our original pick up i called the company to ask where the driver was. The receptionist told me he was running late from another drop off. Our ride ended up being 30 mins late. After being picked up, the driver missed a turn to another resort and had to drive around the block twice to pick another group up. The entire ride to the bay all he talked about was the government taking over a Mtn and the people protesting on all the islands. He used language around my son that was inappropriate for a 9 year old. Once we finally made it to the Bay as we were getting out he said, oh I may not have enough equipment for the entire group. I was thinking the company knew how many they were picking up and should have had the equipment ready. The driver did find enough equipment but forgot to hand out fins.
