A vacation like this will lift your spirits. Every snow often, there’s a deal you just can’t pass up. There’s an adventure calling your name. This is one of those times. So, go buy some new goggles and save on your hotel!
Having microwave in rooms is great advantage as it helps in warming food Rest was great.
Overall a wonderful place to stay! We enjoyed everything about the Bogong View Motor Inn. We will be back!
Really comfortable bed. Nice and clean. Place currently under renovations but still had friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Will be great once renos completed. Had a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms and a lounge/kitchen area. Was perfect for a family of 5 at a great price too. Great cafes etc ...
The apartment was great - spacious with a great view. But with 2 of us there the tea/coffee amenities weren’t very generous. There were only 2 ‘normal’ tea bags (sorry but earl grey and peppermint don’t count as normal to me!) and no milk. We called to ask for milk (just UHT was all we needed) and ...
The room was very good, heating is not great and it will be good if we have microwave in the room
very smooth checkin, lovely pub and restaurant, perfect for overnight stay before heading up to Hotham Heights the next monday
Apartments are perfectly sized and the beds are excellent - very comfy, no sagging, lovely soft sheets. Location is perfect - 2 min drive or 10 min stroll to town centre.
Room was large, clean and tastefully decorated, with a warm comfortable bed. The staff was very helpful showing us the room, how the heater worked and providing us with suggestions about dinner and breakfast.
Such a beautiful location, amazing view.Very homely and inviting accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff. Great addition of tennis courts out the back.
Checked in at 3.30pm, our room wasn’t ready until 4.30pm and staff were defensive about the delay, had to pay for our coffee at the bar whilst we waited for our room. One of the reasons we chose this accommodation was the food reviews but alll that was available was a bbq for dinner and a greasy ...
Great location. A little tired . Staff were brilliant and helpful
Convenient distance to snowfields. Large room with clean albeit dated facilities but entirely acceptable for the price
We stayed in room 12, it was warm, clean and had a sufficient hot shower. For the price you couldn’t ask for more.
This facility is very nice. Old fashioned but very comfortable. Super clean and a lovely set of facilities, lots of large public spaces with fireplaces or for eating, games playing or lounging. A nice find for tired skiers.
The check in process was rather bizarre but the motel room was satisfactory. Inflated prices and limited accommodation at Jindabyne meant that the Snowy Mountains Coach and Motor Inn was a viable option for visiting the snowfields.
PRO's:: * Location - Cooma is literally at your doorstep * Indoor heated swimming pool * Reception was excellent * Room was well set out CON's * Beds were a little hard (but NOT terrible - I've had much worse) * Great sized shower, but bathroom is a little pokey.
Beautiful relaxing spot for a luxury break in the snow. The breakfast's each day are lovely and the staff attentive and friendly, best scrambled eggs ever. The ducks on the lake are a welcome addition.
Very friendly staff, great food and an absolutely stunning location. Only mild downside for me was I found the bed not very comfortable (soft mattress on a spring base bunk), but the kids absolutely loved it!
2 bedrooms lake view apartment was stunning, great activities and facilities, but for the price we paid, I would have expected friendlier service and phone calls to make bookings at hotel facilities returned.
Great leisure room, kids activities, amenities, close to food/fuel, cabins were family friendly
Nice hotel, some of the furnishings were a tad dated but everyone was lovely and it was warm and cosy place to stay at the snow
The property had a cosy feel about it. The welcome by the manager was very friendly and informative. The room was spacious and clean. The continental breakfast was plentiful and set out appealingly. Although we didn't use the lounge area or bar service I think it would be another great service provided, ...
Great locations s big family rooms. Needs a fresh coat of paint and lights from bowls club were shining in room all night ( no blind to put down ). Otherwise great property
We had such a lovely stay at Siesta Villas! Would definitely like to return in the future. We chose to stay here as it looked like a nice & tidy basic motel that was not too expensive or over the top. The staff were very nice and make you feel very welcome. Rooms are nice and tidy and loved the fact ...
Comfortable, warm and clean. Good sized rooms. About 40 min drive to Mt Selwyn
Bathroom and room a little small but the lovely common area with fire meant we spent anytime not sleeping there.
The breakfast for $16.50 is extremely average, much better food in town for less. The accomodation is clean, tidy, great shower pressure and always hot water. Would stay again, just avoid the food.
Staff were awesome :) Great location. Wish we were there longer. We'll be back!
Friendly staff. good service. Best restaurant ever. Reasonable priced meals and drinks. Good mattress. good room.Good parking availability. Good access to skiing.
Amazing stay on snow with all the best amenities. Great food, bus transfers, warm and clean!
Myself and the grandchildren had a great time. Very accomodating staff and nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing!! Lovely warm comfortable rooms and the Community areas had everything we needed. We will certainly return.. thank you for making our short stay an enjoyable one.
Loved the location , ease of booking in , nothing was a problem , amazing sky channels & even Spark Sport for the Rugby World Cup.
Great property in very convenient location for us trekking- stayed for 5 nights - good local food at pubs and restaurants- great local deli/ cafe for coffee etc
So quiet and comfortable. We were looking for somewhere quiet and restful and we found it right here. The bed was excellent and amenities were great. thanks so much
I don’t know whether Unit 8 was different to the other units, but it was great in every respect. Could not think of anything I would change..... Hard to imagine any other place in Hanmer Springs that could be better.
Beautiful location, perfectly presented room, excellent service and extremely friendly, 3rd time I have stayed and it keeps getting better, massive thank you to staff/owners
Lovely mountain views, value for money, friendly staff great layout of unit.
Good location! Room is clean and very spacious with a large lounge room! However the room we stayed in did not have blinds at the end of the corridor on each floor! So if there were people outside of the windows they could have seen what’s in the room clearly at night! Also you only get 500MB complimentary ...
Bed was comfortable but road noise was disturbing all through the night with passing trucks. Unadjustable shower height would suit anyone under 5 foot, forget washing your hair otherwise unless you can limbo
Friendly staff, amazing location with views of mountains and lakes. Nice size room and very warm.
Lovely, clean and warm! So appreciated heater being on before we arrived at night. Was cosy and perfect for family. Thank you!
Lovely warm cozy room in an amazing part of NZ. Owners are warm and friendly. A great place to stay!
Very nice and quiet, staff extremely friendly. Unfortunately restaurant closed on Sundays. Will try to go again during the week.
Didn’t like that it was not serviced The same towels for three nights Barely enough toilet paper No rubbish bags A pitiful amount of dishwashing powder Dishes were dirty before we had used them Positives - good location comfy beds
We loved how friendly the staff were and the location was great. The only real negative was the wifi which dropped in and out a lot.
Fantastic location in Mt Cooke, our room had the most amazing views and they even put on a lightning show like I’ve never seen before 😁😁
Just like the old working days when I stayed regularly at this establishment. Have seen the hotel grow in stature and it was good to go back after 10 years or so to see that systems had not changed a great deal - don't fix it if it ain't broke?
Great place for a stop over. Great staff and facilities which make the stay pleasant.
It just had everything you could want or need, was extremely clean. Sky mag, lovely & warm. Couldnt fault it
Loved the original stone buildings from the farm. They have been beautifully restored & repurposed. Other buildings have been designed to have a similar understated, but elegant look. It makes the resort feel unique and very Otago!
It was the perfect home away from home. The facilities were amazing and our entire stay was incredibly comfortable. Being super close to the supermarket was also a plus. It was always a good feeling knowing we were coming back to the cottage after a big day of fun in Queenstown.
Tidy, clean, with all the necessities for different travellers . Excellent helpful friendly staff.
Beautiful relaxed setting with friendly staff. Nice food although some vegetarian and vegetable options would be good.
Amazing location. Great to be able to so easily access mountain accomodation and all that goes with it. Very comfortable rooms with all the lovely touches.
Absolutely beautifully furnished and comfortable home. Such a delightful stay.
The host, Angelo - met us at the door, even though we were late arrivals - Showed us around to make us feel welcome and at home and explained where everything was to be found. What an amazing place! The heating was on, and a friendly log fire - very welcome after a long trip. Angelo offered us a ...
Extremely comfortable & cosy base for our family of 5. Short drive up the mountain for skiing and close to Wanaka. Would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here for my brother's wedding, and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The room was warm, clean and cosy, with a balcony overlooking the snow capped mountains. It was convenient to duck across to the lodge for both dinner and breakfast, and everything was within walking distance.
My partner and I had a wonderful time. The view and customer service was fantastic. There was plenty of food provided for breakfast
This was a wonderful way to enjoy Milford Sound on an overnight mini cruise. The skipper, chef and crew were all lovely and very friendly people. The cruise itself was beautiful and informative and the catering was excellent. The spa on the deck was a wonderful way to end the evening. I would definitely ...
We liked the shuttle service down to the village and the staff were very friendly and professional
Lovely peaceful spot close to the airport but with the water taxi to the water front at your front door it made getting into the town easy.
Location and the hot tub although it was booked out the evening we stayed
Our room was very cheap so we understand that it is looking very shabby, but I hope an upgrade is due as I would pay anymore for it. Nice and clean though
Good location easy walk to town , friendly staff , Room wasn’t serviced one day shower temp is really hot then goes cold have to keep adjusting
