Fantastic hotel, great staff, awesome food&service

Pros: Staff, being central, great food and affordable prices.
Cons: I was satisfied with everything.
Location: Location is central especially if you go to ground floor where it takes you to shops, restaurant, parliament etc
Personal thank you to Luke for being so vigilant and saved out little boy who went missing due to disability. Thank you Luke. Hotel has apart from great staff awesome food and restaurant downstairs on the 3rd floor. Hotel is minutes walk from cuba street and other amenities are very close. I will stay here again. Fantastic place. :-)

A wonderful nights sleep

Pros: The location. It sits between Lambton Quay and the Terrace . The views are amazing, The bed was great, the staff were very friendly etc etc etc
Cons: The reception foyer could do with a brighten up but it is still very functional
Location: Wellington CBD, The hills of Wellington, Te Papa, etc etc etc
I booked this Motel because of the proximity to the venue I was having a conference at. I also booked it because of the reasonable price, when I arrived I was more than pleasantly surprised. The entrance to the reception doesn't do anything for the rest of the Motel as it is rather small and down an alleyway(Short) but the security of the entire complex is great. I stayed on the 11th floor overlooking Lambton Quay and with a fantastic but narrow view of the harbour. Totally unexpected. The room was smallish but very well appointed with a massive shower cubicle. The decor was fresh and clean and the layout of the room didn't make it feel small at all. The bed was extremely comfortable and they had a pillow menu to inform you of the different types of pillow that were on the bed. Because of this pleasant experience I am planning on taking my wife back to the same Motel for a weekend in the near future. They do have a cafe/restaurant attached to the Motel but I didn't need to use it as the conference supplied all my food but I read the menu and saw a number of patrons there when I went past so I am looking forward to tasting their menu . I would highly recommend this Motel to all for that stopover of extended visit to Wellington

Good location - easy to access all areas of town.

Pros: Location, quality and reasonable price.
Location: Was a great location for access to lambton quay shopping and to the waterfront.
Reception staff were very friendly and accomodating. Our room was very clean, newly renovated, warm and had everything we needed for a short stay. all furnishings and bedding were comfortable and good quality. Our room overlooked Lambton Quay and out to the waterfront which was an added bonus.

Great location

Fantastic hotel, great location but ceiling panels rattled all night in wind. No sleep! Shame as otherwise perfect.

Central and quiet.

Pros: Every thing was good. No complaints really.
Cons: The need for my debit card to have $100 taken out of it! Really? I still dont have it back!! Plus you already have my details through WOTIF !
Location: Te Papa. Great craft beer pubs.Parliament tour. Cable Car. Shopping. Culture city of NZ.
I stayed here with my partner and we were very happy. I spent an extra 20 bucks and got one with a kitchenette. That proved well worth it what going out to eat for 3 meals can cost a bit. Countdown is a stones throw away so we bought our breakfasts and cooked in our room. The room was big and very clean. Good security too.I would consider staying here again!!

Good bed in the CBD

Great place to stop for a night or two. Very comfortable. pillows are way to fat..... bath is a big step up but ok if you are young and agile. very handy to town restaurants and shops. yeh I would stay there again. But our nights were very discounted.
