Well located but dated and with a dirty bathroom

Good size two bedroom with kitchenette, lounge and dining room. Great setup for family. Comfortable beds and pillows. Staff were nice and friendly, were happy for us to check out an hour late with no additional fee. Well located but quite noisy (we did stay over a weekend so there was noise from the street). Bathroom small, dark and the grout in the shower needed a really good scrub. The tiles had been painted and some of the paint was coming off. The cream coloured couch looked stained, so not very inviting.

Fix the toilets

No one told me on the phone that if I didn't have a credit card my debit card wouldbe charged 200 dollars and if I had a credit card would just be 1 dollar and when we got up to the room the toliet wasn't flushing

Wellington city centre

Pros: Location near CBD
Cons: Parking
The accommodation was average. The staff were great. The location in the centre of the CBD was great. The parking situation was abysmal. An absolute must for a hotel in such a location is valet parking which was non-existent. One particular gripe was that the address given was on the Quay, yet the access was from the 6th Floor. I had to hold up traffic on the Quay to get information from the reception on the 6th Floor. Directions given to get my car to the reception area were vague and I had to do two laps around to find it, by sheer luck in the end.

Tired, dated rooms - not worth the money

Very disappointed with the dated, tired and in need of renovations rooms (especially kitchen and bathrooms). When you are paying top dollar you expect better quality.

City centre at your doorstep

Last minute booking for a stay in Wellington. Great rate and great location in middle of Wellington city on Lambton Quay. I arrived late night and met by lovely staff who made a great first impression - they even offered me an up-grade on my room. That was a nice surprise. However, having the city at your doorstep does come with the negative of a very noisy night sleep (or lack of). With trucks making night time deliveries and the early morning rubbish collection, being only two floors up on Lambton Quay resulted in a very sleep disrupted night - I suggest you pack the earplugs. On the plus side the bed was probably one of the most deliciously comfortable beds I've slept in - and great pillows too. So overall for the price and its location and that delicious feather bed, it's a great option - just remember the earplugs.

Outrageous tariff for quality of accommodation

In vital need of upgrading and refurbishment - no facilities eg no restaurant,no room service, no double glazing (noisy) Expectation of luxury related to cost so very disappointing. Excellent location, very clean, polite obliging staff.
