I am sure that we are not the first people to “discover” The Retreat at Froog-Moore Park. Coming up from Sydney to attend to an urgent matter we booked by chance and found ourselves in a different world. Not at all what we expected. Peter and Sandy have a background in shopfitting and design as well as a passion for travel and cooking superb food. Much of the produce is grown on site. The result is themed rooms with great attention to detail. Every element is chosen with care. The food is carefully crafted and delightfully surprising. We felt welcomed and totally at home from the moment we walked in. Not your usual accommodation . A really lovely experience.

Quiet but convenient

This is a b and b with a difference, excellent accomodation, on the edge of Tamworth but 5 mins to my meetings, no need to go out to dinner or breakfast, mine host is a superb chef and looked after my soecial dietary requirements with consumate ease, highly recommend you eat in ,

Visually Stimulating

Peter and Sandy provided an hospital service from the moment we walked into The Retreat, including catering to our special diet. Not your ordinary hotel. The rooms are decorated in art deco/ vintage style with beautiful ornaments and the garden is just great to wander through or sit and contemplate. A very quiet environment for relaxation. A real treat.
