The location of the hotel is beautiful! The staff is so friendly and they do everything they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The new premier rooms are stunning. The puplic pool is not very inviting and seating at reception is very limited. The lagoon rooms were dirty and very old. I dont mind old but those rooms have gone beyond old. They are falling apart. Needs renovation NOW. At this stage I would not come again until renovations are done. Thank you for your hospitality

A must see!

Pros: Spa treatments, crispy bacon, big comfy beds, beautiful grounds & scenery, friendly service.
Cons: More regular shuttle services, perhaps running later into the evening.
Location: Top tourist spots are the museum, palace, traditiIonal markets & monkey forest. Be sure to visit No Mas for some really good burgers & atmosphere.
This hotel boasts everything listed & more. The pictures don’t lie, Furama really is beautiful! Appropriate for those wanting to escape the hustle & bustle; & especially for those who prefer to relax more around the pool than to get up & go adventuring everyday. That being said, there are activities at Furama available for guests ensuring that families, couples and everyone in between are kept entertained: Balinese Culture Night, approx $35AUD Wood Carving Lessons, approx $30AUD Yoga Lessons, approx $20AUD Balinese Cooking Lessons, approx $80AUD and of course, a beautiful in house spa. Things can get pretty expensive, especially if you’re there for more than a few days doing activities & eating at Padi’s Restaurant (that has lovely views); so for those on a smaller budget you will be glad to know that their is a shuttle that runs every couple of hours to the centre of Ubud and back. The distance is not that far however traffic can be sketchy so always plan for 30-45mins. The service is exquisite at Furama & the staff are extremely friendly, always willing to tend to your every need. Fantastic room service & breakfast buffet!! The villa was always kept clean & replenished full of creature comforts while you were away. Both pools absolutely fabulous but the Lagoon Pool was easily a favourite, with a swim up pool bar to enjoy.

Private Villa & Facilities

Pros: Villa design, private pool, staff, service, value for money
Cons: Internet/ Wifi connection. Telephone lines. Some furnishings and fittings are due for an update
Location: Nice, quiet location. Need transport to any service not provided by the hotel complex. Free shuttle or 10-15M R taxi to Ubud
As always, excellent service from friendly, local, Balinese staff. Beautiful private villa in a complex with private pool. Service was second to none. Villa design is perfect for a couple who wish to do no in house cooking. Some aspects of the buildings and furniture are starting to show their age. Wifi could be a little hit and miss at times

Kymberley Fehon Firts of all thank you for your comment regards to the distance from the Ubud center, which is able to be reached up with in 25 minutes by car, as the alternative solution we offered the free shuttle buss for in house guest. On the other hand the area is good for escaping from the city life style. Best reagrsd Management

Renovations + Closures

In accordance with local regulations, all visitors must remain within the property during Seclusion Day (Nyepi)/Hindu New Year for a 24-hour period (starting at 6 AM). Seclusion Day typically falls in March or April (dates subject to change each year). Check-in and check-out will not be possible on that date. Ngurah Rai Airport (Bali International Airport) is also closed on Seclusion Day.
