Bryce Trails B&B property looks like a converted farmhouse on the outside, but it's very nicely renovated, modern and upscale on the inside. I was pleasantly surprised with the attention to detail - the colors of the room decor, the textiles (bedding, towels, and cozy comforters on the chairs), nice bath products and a higher-end tea and coffee selection (which you really appreciate when it's well below zero outside!!!). In addition to the great views of the canyons from the windows, the acrylic prints of the stunning local scenery and landscapes taken by the owner are displayed in the rooms and common areas and make the place feel like an art gallery. The delicious homemade breakfasts deserve a separate mention - I stayed for two nights and had eggs benedict with two types of bacon, avocado and fresh herbs on the first day, and frittata-style baked egg dish with ham, potatoes and veggies on the last day. There were also sides like yogurt, fresh berries and granola or cinnamon french toast available. As a final note, the owner (Ed Erglis) knows the area exceptionally well, and it's worth taking his advice on navigating to some spots that are not well defined by a regular area map. PS. Fastest wi-fi in the southern Utah, which is helpful if you are trying to stay on top of work things. PPS. IDK BBQ diner near the property at the intersection of Main St. and Bryce is a solid option for lunch, dinner or a takeout.
