Carpets were stained and dirty. Dishwasher had a massive out of order sign stuck to it. Room smelled like it has never had fresh air through it. Kitchen was good. Cooking utensils average. No oven trays etc. Having a laundry was excellent. Good location. Outdoor pool was large. Walls had marks everywhere. Could definitely use new paint and carpet. Wont stay again until there renovated. Friend stayed one floor up from us. And her floors were the same.

The apartment complex itself is lovely, and the pool area sizeable. The spa was cold and we weren't able to get it working. The apartment needs a seriously deep clean. The carpets are gross, the skirtingboards and walls need a wipe over, the shower needs a good bleaching and the furnishings were sparse and did nothing to make it enjoyable to be in. I thought it was a bargain due to it's distance from The Strand, but I now think its because its not very well maintained. Bedding and towels however were clean. There's a strict no smoking policy in the building, yet when we went to the car park, the concierge was down there having a cigarette. All in all, there wasn't anything to endear me to stay here again, and I'm not that fussy! For the money, we would stay at a hotel on The Strand next time.
