Fantastic Location - close to town

Pros: Owner very friendly. Very comfy bed. Room amenities were great. Nice to have a heat pump and/or ceiling fan.
Cons: In my room the fridge was missing a foot or something so was very wobbly when opening/closing
Found the hotel through Google when I made the decision for a weekend away. Was a great place to stay.

Nice motel near shops and beach

Pros: Friendly, convenient.
Cons: Cover/door to wardrobe in the room we were in.
Location: Nice walks, and other activities to do. Very laid back.
Stayed just for a short while and found everything in reach, easily convenient. Lovely spot to chill.

Lovely Premises

Pros: Clean, tidy, friendly. Met all my needs for a one night stay.
Cons: Water temperature needs to be increased if you are wanting a long hot bath. Haven't experienced this before and this was the only dissappointment.
Location: Fabulous location. Whakatane not a very big town, so everything within walking distance or a quick drive.
Lovely premises, staff very helpful and friendly. Would definately stay again and recommend to others. Thank you.

Handy place to stay

The room etc is fine but it can be a bit noisy at night with other guests coming in later, and the TV selection is poor.

Overnight stay for Work

Was recommended Tuscany Villas as the place to stay when visiting Whakatane for work. Great place to stay. Friendly helpful staff. The quality of the breakfast was a nice surprise. I'll definitely being staying at Tuscany Villas next time I am in Whakatane.

Handy position, but

It may have Italian name, but it is not at all italian, there was only the photos on the wall, and the decorations in the carpark that were Italian. Very welcoming and the menu looked great, but arancini...... This is a motel, not a hotel. Air con unit noisy, TV small screen.

Nice hotel, close to all amenities

would have preferred not to be put in disabled room, was looking forward to a bath! But otherwise great place to stay

A good location

Pros: The location.
Cons: The room we had upstairs was hot, even though it had air-con.
Location: A lovely area on the coast, and good hiking along the adjacent hills overlooking the coast.
We enjoyed our stay at this motel. A great location and central.

Great - best on North Island!!

Pros: As above
Cons: Nothing
Location: Perfect. Walking distance to everything.
We felt very welcomed the minute waked in the door. Peter and Mel great hosts. Couldn't ask for anything more. Room was great. Clean. Airy. AND ceiling fan and AirCon.. Thank you very much for helping to make our stay in Whakatane special. Rob & Gwenda
