"Affordable luxury close to the CBD"
My boyfriend and I travelled from Newcastle to see a concert in Newtown. We caught the train to Sydney so we were wearing casual attire and had backpacks on when we arrived. Upon checking into the hotel we were a little disappointed with how the hotel staff received us at the reception desk, we guessed it was because of how we were dressed. The receptionist also didn't direct us to the elevators after checking in, so we had to walk around to find them. Besides that, we were very happy with our room and the facilities provided. We had a City Side Room which had a huge king bed and the bathroom had both a shower and bathtub. The bathrobes could have been a bit softer. The 11:00am check out was definitely a plus, more time to sleep in. Overall a pleasant and comfortable hotel experience. We would definitely stay here again.

"Elegant and Comfortable"
Delightful stay in spacious twin room. Large marble bathroom with twin basins, shower and bath, plus separate toilet. Comfortable bed and pillows, a must when one is away from home. We dined pre theatre in the elegant dining room. A lovely menu, well presented and delicious. We valued the professionalism of the wait staff and were well looked after. This hotel us so ideally located, close to harbour, Opera House, ferries, botanical garden. Highly recommend.

"Well positioned comfortable hotel"
The staff were extremely helpful, courteous and personable. We found that the position of the hotel allowed easy access to the CBD shopping precinct, and the Rail and Ferry transport facilities. We thought that the room was a little too compact but this did not cause a great problem. We were surprised that the tiles in the shower seemed to be showing water deterioration especially since the Hotel was young.

"great location. "
only stayed one night. Room clean. Had city views, which when told sound interesting. But when looking out of the window you see only the tall buildings right beside you so really no views. Staff very curtious. Very busy hotel, especially at check out time in the morning. Waited 10m min to get onto the lift. Had to catch the lift up before going down. Great position. Would recommend. Close to bars, restaurants and transport. Easy location to find coming off the bridge.
