Close to the beach. Comfortable beds. The south tower (family suites) overlook the apartments in front. Very very limited ocean glimpses from some balconies. When we first checked in I was very disappointed with the room/facilities and lack of view. I spoke to the receptionist about it and she was lovely although there was no change in our accommodation. The staff were all friendly and as helpful as they could be. The upside is the location is excellent, beds were comfortable and it was quiet at night. The restaurant was very good for breakfast. Downside is the rooms are small, no view from the south tower, one bathroom, no kitchenette, limited storage.

4 days in Manly

Location: Right near the beach, the wharf, buses and shops and restaurants.
The Sebel’s location is hard to beat, right on the beach at South Steyne. We stayed in the tower fronting Ashburner street, the room was clean and comfortable and the balcony was quiet and roomy. Minutes from the Corso and a variety of restaurants this quiet and confortable hotel suits couples and families.

South Tower - Sebel Sydney - Manly Beach

Pros: Good location
Cons: Bathroom needs a complete overhaul. Remove mould and did-coluoration in the grout and clean the bath daily - ours ended up putrid.
Location: Location is good - lots of restaurants and beach is great plus good walks nearby.
Shower/bath had mould in the grout. Bath was not cleaned for 4 days. Told we were to be given a room with a partial beach view and it was a sliver of a few trees and beach seen through the alleyway of two buildings in front of us. Advertised TV stations did not all work - the ones we wanted to watch. Very old style rooms and they have seen their day. My Commodore bottomed out trying to get into and out of the garage. Very disappointing!

Dear Paul, Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience and please accept my apologies as we did not meet your expectation. Your pictures about the bathroom has been noted and I can assure you this has been brought forward to our housekeeping team. In addition, we are putting some details to our owners to see how we can improve the bathroom standards. In addition, we do have another car park spot that we should have offered you. In your next return we can try to see if we can put you into North Tower car parking. Once again please accept my apologies for the stay and we look forward welcoming you back. Kind regards Kyong Pang Rooms Division Manager
