Overall St Marks is pleasant, clean and nicely presented. It does look like the pictures and the bedding and room is comfortable. I could not get the aircon to work so used the fan instead so that was OK. Also the kettle cord in the room is 10cm long but the powerpoint is 60cm above the desk where the kettle is. This means I had to hold the kettle base in the air while it boiled. Need a longer cord or a lower power point. I wasn't worried but just pointing this out.

The mini double room was surprisingly spacious. Really nice and clean with modern bathroom. Great location close to shops. restaurants and public transport. Could sometimes be a little noisy when guests were using the central courtyard but generally great place to stay.

Parking is atrocious. The bathroom is too small and there are no tissues in the room

The bathroom had nowhere to put anything down - such as even a small toiletry bag - and desperately needs a stool or shelf as an amenity commonaly found in a facility of its calibre.
